Modi's birthday marked with welfare drive across Shravasti district hospitals and communities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday was marked with an elaborate series of service and welfare programmes in Shravasti district, where Uttar Pradesh Jails Minister and district in-charge Dara Singh Chauhan presided over the celebrations organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Chauhan received a rousing welcome from party workers at the BJP office in Shravasti when he arrived to participate in the Seva Sankalp programme, an initiative designed to mark the Prime Minister's birth anniversary through community service and outreach activities.

As part of the Seva Sankalp campaign, the minister visited the district hospital where he distributed fruits to patients undergoing treatment. He also reached the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre building inside the hospital premises, where he presented a basket of fruits to mothers with newborn babies. During the visit, Chauhan interacted with the new mothers and their family members, enquiring about their health and the facilities available at the hospital.

At the Collectorate, the minister distributed assistive devices to persons with disabilities as part of the day's welfare activities. Marking Vishwakarma Jayanti, which coincided with the celebrations, Chauhan also distributed toolkits to workers and labourers.

The BJP Yuva Morcha organised a large-scale blood donation camp at the district hospital, with numerous youth volunteers coming forward to donate blood. A birthday cake was cut at the blood bank by Minister Chauhan alongside other public representatives to celebrate the Prime Minister's birthday.

The celebrations saw participation from several dignitaries including MLA Ram Pheran Pandey, District Panchayat President Daddan Mishra, and BJP District President Mishri Lal Verma. A large number of party workers and leaders joined in praying for the Prime Minister's long life and good health.

District Magistrate Annapurna Garg, Chief Development Officer, and officials and staff from the Health Department, Education Department and Social Welfare Department were also present at the events in significant numbers.
