Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy Calls for Support for Development Initiatives
Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy urges public backing for NDA's development initiatives during a celebratory event in Madanapalle.
Madanapalle: Roads and Buildings Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy has called upon the public to extend their support to the government's efforts in fostering village development and strengthening local governance. The Minister, who also serves as the in-charge for Annamayya district, made this appeal during a celebratory event titled "Two Years of Trust, Good Governance, Development and Welfare" held on Thursday.
The event saw the participation of Transport Minister M. Ramprasad Reddy, District Collector Nishant Kumar, and various elected representatives and leaders from alliance partners. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Janardhan Reddy emphasized that the alliance government is propelling the State forward through a combination of development and welfare initiatives.
Highlighting the success of the district’s ‘Jaladhara’ programme, the Minister noted its impact as a model for the entire State. He pointed out visible results in groundwater replenishment, tank interlinking, and water conservation achieved through the programme, while congratulating the district administration and officials from the Revenue and Irrigation departments for their efforts.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy also spoke about the implementation of the government’s ‘Super Six’ schemes, which were announced during the elections. He stated that these initiatives are advancing the State’s development, particularly in areas such as job creation, industrial promotion, and attracting investments. He further highlighted the government’s progress in developing the State capital, irrigation projects, infrastructure expansion, and investment promotion.
Earlier in the day, the Ministers inspected stalls set up by various departments, including MEPMA, the Water Management Agency, DRDA, the School Education Department, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the Transport Department, Civil Supplies, Agriculture, Anna Canteens, and others.
