Kalaburagi to host 15th Annual Blood Donation Camp on August 15

Kalaburagi is all set to host the 15th Annual Blood Donation Camp on August 15, coinciding with Independence Day celebrations. The camp, a joint effort by Team G-99, Mahadasohi Sharanabasaveshwar Dialysis Centre, and the Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCI), aims to address the critical need for blood in healthcare facilities and support patients requiring transfusions.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, KKCCI president Sharanabasappa Pappa highlighted the importance of the initiative, which has been held consistently for the past 15 years. "This camp is a humanitarian effort to ensure that no patient suffers due to the unavailability of blood. We urge the public, especially youngsters and regular donors, to come forward and contribute generously," he said.

The event will take place at the KKCCI building in Super Market, Kalaburagi, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 15. Organisers are expecting a large turnout and have made arrangements to ensure a smooth and safe donation process.
