Kadapa Police Reunite Mother With Children After Bus Leaves Without Her

Mydukur police in Kadapa district helped a woman find her two children and reunite with them after she got down from their bus at Mydukur bus station.

Bus leaves through same gate

According to Kadapa police, the woman was travelling from Kurnool to Rajampeta with her two children. When the bus reached Mydukur bus station, she got down briefly.

The bus then departed through the same gate it had used to enter the station. The other gate was closed because of bandobust for the ZPTC election.

The woman realised that the bus was missing and panicked. She wept inconsolably and ran along the road, hoping to locate the bus.

SI helps intercept the bus

Mydukur Sub Inspector Kathi Ramana was on security duty nearby when he saw the woman running aimlessly on the road. He offered to help her and gave her a lift in his official vehicle.

The woman and the SI then managed to intercept the bus. This enabled her to find her children and reunite with them.

The woman thanked the police department for helping her locate her children. The incident highlights how the closed gate and the bus’s departure through the other route led to the separation at the station.
