The operation was carried out under Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's zero-tolerance policy against illegal liquor, on the directions of Collector Shivam Verma.
The Excise Department team recovered the liquor, manufactured in Haryana, during the inspection of a container. The seized alcohol and the container have been taken into custody.
Preliminary investigations suggest the possibility of uncovering a syndicate involved in inter-state illegal transportation and smuggling of liquor. The department is conducting a detailed probe into the source and destination of the liquor as well as other individuals connected to this network.
