Hundreds gather for rituals at Baba Jharkhandi Nath Temple during Sawan

Hundreds of devotees flocked to the Baba Jharkhandi Nath Temple in Rampur Paida village, located in the Gilola police station area of Shravasti district, on the third Monday of the holy month of Sawan. Worshippers performed the sacred ritual of 'Jalabhishek' and offered prayers to seek blessings and fulfill their wishes.

Since early morning, the temple premises were bustling with activity as devotees from nearby and far-off areas arrived in large numbers. Men, women, and children gathered to pay their respects to Baba Jharkhandi Nath, participating in rituals and prayers with great devotion. The area around the temple also saw a festive atmosphere, with various stalls set up selling puja items and other goods, drawing crowds of shoppers.

Sawan, considered one of the holiest months in the Hindu calendar, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees across the country observe this month with special prayers, rituals, and offerings, including the traditional 'Kawad Yatra' and 'Jalabhishek.'
