During the inspection, the District Magistrate reviewed the educational activities being conducted in the school. He also took stock of the mid-day meal arrangements, cleanliness, student attendance and other facilities available on the campus.
The inspection was reported from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, by Shobhit Kumar Sharma.
District Magistrate Patel instructed the teachers to provide quality education to the children and to pay special attention to their overall development. He made it clear that teaching should not be limited only to classroom lessons, and that teachers must also focus on discipline, values and positive thinking among students.
The District Magistrate visited different classrooms and interacted with the boys and girls studying there. He checked their notebooks to assess the level of learning and classroom work. After finding the work in the notebooks to be correct, he appreciated the children.
He encouraged the students to come to school regularly and on time, study with full attention, and bring a good name to their parents and the district. He told the children that regular attendance and dedication towards studies are important for their future.

However, during the inspection, only 67 boys and girls were found present in the school. The District Magistrate expressed displeasure over this low attendance and instructed the school staff to ensure 100 percent attendance.
The District Magistrate also inspected the mid-day meal system being run in the school. The principal informed him that three cooks have been deployed for preparing food and that dal-rice was being prepared as per the MDM menu.
Patel inspected the kitchen and directed the staff to maintain proper cleanliness there. He also asked the school authorities to ensure regular cleaning of the school premises, classrooms and toilets.
