Hathras SDM Eats Mid-Day Meal With Students During Surprise School Inspection

Hathras, October 24, 2026: SDM Sadar Raj Bahadur Singh conducted an unannounced inspection of Composite School Lahra in the area on Saturday. During the inspection, he reviewed the school’s teaching arrangements, cleanliness, discipline and the quality of the mid-day meal, or MDM.

Raj Bahadur Singh also sat in a row with the students and ate the mid-day meal. He tasted the food to assess its quality and found it satisfactory.

The Sub-Divisional Magistrate visited different classrooms and observed the teaching arrangements. He spoke to the students and asked them about their studies and the facilities available at the school.

He also inspected the cleanliness of the school premises, the attendance of the students and the environment created for teaching and learning. The arrangements at the school were found to be satisfactory, following which the SDM praised its academic environment.

After this, SDM Sadar inspected the school kitchen. He checked the way food items were being stored, the cleanliness of the kitchen and the arrangements for preparing the mid-day meal.

To assess the quality of the meal, he ate the MDM food while sitting with the students. After tasting it, he found the quality satisfactory.

On the occasion, SDM Raj Bahadur Singh instructed the school teachers to provide quality education to the children and to continue making regular improvements in the teaching standards.

He said that, in line with the government’s intention, it must be ensured that every child gets a better educational environment and nutritious food.

The SDM also stressed the need to keep the school arrangements running smoothly and to pay special attention to cleanliness. His instructions covered both the quality of education and the facilities and arrangements connected with the students’ daily schooling.

The entire teaching staff of the school and all the students were present during the inspection.
