Ghaziabad police step up security for Raksha Bandhan with intensified patrols

Ghaziabad police have intensified security arrangements across the city ahead of the Raksha Bandhan festival to ensure public safety during the celebrations. Assistant Commissioner of Police Upasana Pandey from Circle Kotwali conducted foot patrolling in crowded areas under Vijayanagar police station jurisdiction to assess the security situation on the ground.

During the patrol, police conducted thorough checking of suspicious vehicles and individuals. ACP Pandey also interacted with commuters and residents, assuring them of adequate security measures during the festival. She appealed to citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police so that the festive celebrations can take place in a safe and secure environment.

Intensive checks of suspicious vehicles and persons are also underway at barrier points across the city. The police administration's primary objective is to maintain law and order during the important festival of Raksha Bandhan and provide complete security to citizens.
