RWA chief's son flies in for Raksha Bandhan, departs for London with father

Sonu Garg, son of R.K. Garg who chairs the RWA Federation Ghaziabad, returned to India on Tuesday to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with his family before departing for London with his father. Garg, who resides in London, arrived specifically for the auspicious occasion and made a quick turnaround to ensure he could mark the festival with his sisters.

Early Tuesday morning around 2 am, Sonu Garg participated in the traditional Raksha Bandhan ceremony with his sisters, receiving sacred threads from them in keeping with the Hindu festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. After completing the rituals and celebrations, he prepared to return to London, this time accompanied by his father R.K. Garg.

The father-son duo left from Gulmohur Enclave around 6 am Tuesday morning for their journey to London. Before their departure, Gaurav Bansal honored Sonu Garg by presenting him with a copy of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and wished him a pleasant and auspicious stay in London. Garg expressed his gratitude to Bansal for the thoughtful gift and good wishes.

The brief visit held special emotional significance for the family, as Sonu Garg traveled thousands of miles to be present for the festival that honors sibling relationships. His decision to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with his sisters before returning to London with his father underscored the importance of maintaining family traditions despite geographical distance.
