Ghaziabad police clear roads so brothers reach sisters for Raksha Bandhan

Ghaziabad police launched special traffic management measures on Raksha Bandhan to ensure brothers could reach their sisters on time to tie the sacred thread. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Varun Singh personally took to the streets to oversee operations, determined that no brother should miss the festival due to traffic congestion.

The traffic police deployed barriers and ropes around the Dasna area to streamline vehicle movement and prevent jams. Singh explained that his team had been managing traffic continuously since the previous day and strengthened arrangements on the festival day itself to help everyone reach their destinations on schedule. He emphasized that the police were respecting the emotional significance of Raksha Bandhan by ensuring no brother would miss tying rakhi to his sister because of traffic delays.
