Ghaziabad Police Enhance Security Ahead of Independence Day Celebrations

Ghaziabad police have ramped up security measures in the run-up to Independence Day. On Thursday, ACP Priyashri Pal led a special checking drive in the Wave City area, covering key locations and mall premises to ensure public safety.

The operation involved additional police personnel and a dog squad, focusing on entry and exit points, mall complexes, and surrounding areas to identify any suspicious individuals or objects. Security staff and mall operators were also briefed on existing arrangements and instructed to remain vigilant.

ACP Priyashri Pal emphasized the importance of immediate reporting in case of any unusual activity, unattended items, or suspicious persons. She issued clear directives to enhance security protocols and ensure prompt communication with the police.

Speaking about the initiative, ACP Pal stated, “Special precautions are being taken in the Wave City area ahead of August 15. Regular checks are being conducted at crowded and high-risk locations. Additional police forces and dog squads are being deployed to strengthen security. Public safety remains our top priority.”

The Ghaziabad police have assured citizens that all necessary measures are being implemented to maintain peace and security during the Independence Day celebrations.
