Indirapuram police hold Tiranga Yatra, enhance security ahead of Independence Day

Ahead of Independence Day, Ghaziabad's Indirapuram police organized a grand Tiranga Yatra in the area, showcasing patriotic fervor and reinforcing security measures. The procession, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Surya Bali Maurya, began at the Indirapuram police station and passed through key routes in the locality. The event saw active participation from police personnel, local residents, dignitaries, and members of the Digital Volunteers Force.

Alongside the Tiranga Yatra, extensive security inspections were carried out by specialized teams, including the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDDS), Anti-Sabotage (AS) Check Team, Dog Squad, and the Indirapuram police unit. These teams conducted thorough checks at malls, markets, hotels, restaurants, roadside eateries, and other public places. The inspections focused on identifying suspicious items and individuals, ensuring heightened vigilance in crowded and sensitive areas.

Key marketplaces and public spaces were closely monitored, and security arrangements were reviewed to prevent any untoward incidents during the Independence Day celebrations. ACP Maurya and his team provided essential instructions to business owners and police personnel to maintain safety and order during the festivities.
