DM Gaurang Rathi Hosts Night Chaupal in Jhansi to Address Grievances

Jhansi: As part of a nationwide campaign celebrating 12 years of the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, District Magistrate Gaurang Rathi organized a night chaupal in Raksa Gram Panchayat of Babina block on Wednesday. The event was conducted under the integrated public welfare and awareness campaign, which is being held from June 5 to 21.

During the chaupal, DM Rathi directly interacted with villagers, reviewed the implementation of government welfare schemes, listened to public grievances, and issued directives for their swift resolution. He also inspected the village and its underprivileged settlements to assess local issues firsthand and ensure corrective measures were taken.

Addressing the gathering, Rathi stressed the importance of empowering villages as a cornerstone for building a developed India. He highlighted the continuous efforts of both the Central and State Governments to support farmers, women, youth, laborers, and economically weaker sections. He also urged eligible beneficiaries to take advantage of various government schemes introduced for their welfare.

The event also featured awareness activities conducted by various departments, including health, agriculture, and women welfare, to inform villagers about available resources and programs.

BJP city president Sudhir Singh was also present and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the achievements and development initiatives undertaken by the Central Government over the past 12 years.
