Dispute Over Toll Payment At Kheda Khajuria Toll Plaza In Ujjain

A dispute over non-payment of toll tax broke out at the Kheda Khajuria toll plaza on the Garoth Highway in the rural area of Ujjain district, leading to allegations of assault on a toll employee.

According to the complaint, a youth allegedly attacked a toll worker with a stick, slaps and punches. A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the youth is seen slapping the toll employee. After an investigation, Raghvi police registered a case against the accused late at night.

In an application submitted to the police, toll plaza Deputy Manager Deepak Kumar said that Rahul Singh reached the Kheda Khajuria toll plaza in a car bearing registration number MP-09-ZU-7776 at around 1 am on September 19. Deepak Kumar told police that Rahul Singh parked the car in the middle of the road and then entered the cabin of the toll plaza.

It is alleged that Rahul started abusing over the issue of not paying toll tax. According to Deepak, when he asked Rahul not to abuse, Rahul picked up a stick and started assaulting him. Deepak alleged that he was beaten with a stick, slapped and punched. During the incident, the assault also took place inside the chamber of the toll plaza.
