The rally, spearheaded by Additional District Magistrate (Finance/Revenue) Lalit Kumar, featured six rescue boats — four from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and two from the Flood PAC. Villagers gathered along the riverbanks to cheer the rally, chanting slogans and celebrating the sight of the tricolor waving proudly on the boats navigating the Rapti's strong currents.

Speaking about the event, ADM Lalit Kumar explained that the rally was not only a tribute to the national flag but also an opportunity to evaluate the district's readiness for flood-related emergencies. "The Rapti River is a major cause of flooding in the region. Through this display of rescue boats equipped with the tricolor, we aim to instill both a sense of national pride and a feeling of security among the public," he said.

District disaster expert Arun Kumar Mishra emphasized the commitment of the Disaster Management Authority to serve the public during crises. "This rally is a symbol of respect for the national flag and a reassurance to the people of Shravasti that we are always prepared to assist them in times of need," he stated.

The event saw active participation from officials, including SDM Bhinga Ashish Bhardwaj, Disaster Officer Praveen Yadav, and representatives from SDRF and Flood PAC. A large number of villagers also attended, adding to the patriotic spirit of the occasion.
