Bahraich-Nepalgunj railway line set to open August 31 after years of delay

The much-awaited opening of the Bahraich-Nepalgunj railway line has been scheduled for August 31, marking a significant milestone in regional connectivity. Union Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav has formally invited Bahraich Member of Parliament Dr. Anand Kumar Gond to attend the inauguration ceremony through an official letter.

The newly constructed Bahraich-Nanpara-Nepalgunj Road railway line has faced previous delays, but authorities have now set a definitive date for the commencement of train operations on this route. The line represents an important infrastructure development for the region, promising to transform travel accessibility for residents of the district.

Once operational, the railway line will provide direct rail connectivity between Nepalgunj Road and various regions across Uttar Pradesh.
