Bahraich DM, SP Inspect Jhingha Ghat Ahead Of Ganesh Immersion

In view of the Ganesh idol immersion in Bahraich, District Magistrate Bahraich Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Bahraich Vishwajeet Shrivastava inspected Jhingha Ghat on 25.09.2026 and reviewed the arrangements at the immersion site and its surrounding areas.

The officials reached Jhingha Ghat and carried out an on-site inspection of the immersion point. During the inspection, they assessed the arrangements related to the safety of devotees, crowd control, traffic management, lighting, barricading and other necessary facilities.

District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Shrivastava issued necessary directions to the concerned police and revenue officials. They instructed them to ensure adequate security arrangements during the Ganesh idol immersion, to pay special attention to the convenience of devotees and to maintain continuous monitoring at the ghat.

The officials also directed officers and employees of the police and revenue departments to work in close coordination with each other so that the immersion programme could be completed safely and peacefully.

During the inspection, Circle Officer City Narayan Dutt Mishra, Circle Officer Mahsi Pawan Kumar, along with the concerned revenue officers and police officers/employees, were present at the site.
