Bahraich Ganesh Idol Immersion Continues Late Into Night Amid Heavy Rain

Immersion of Ganesh idols continued till late night in Bahraich city, with devotees taking part in the farewell rituals despite heavy rain.

At Saryu Ghat, the enthusiasm of Ganesh devotees was clearly visible as the immersion process went on in the downpour.

In the city’s Brahmanipura area, the Brahmand Adhikari Committee bid an emotional farewell to Lord Ganesh with music and drums. The city echoed with the chant, “गणपति बप्पा मौर्या अगले बरस तू जल्दी आ”.

Dozens of idols from Brahmanipura, Kazipura, Gudri, Qila, Ghasiyaripura, Kajikatra, Navagarhi, Medical College, Bakshipura, Gullabir Colony, Bashirganj and Dhobi Tola were immersed safely late into the night.

The administration had made strong arrangements at every point across the city.
