Assistant teacher critically injured after speeding motorcycle hits him in Pratapgarh

A high-speed Apache motorcycle struck and seriously injured an assistant teacher who was standing by the roadside in Pratapgarh district. The rider abandoned the vehicle at the scene and fled immediately after the collision.

Jay Narayan Gupta, an assistant teacher posted at Composite School Tikaria Bujurg, was hit by the speeding Apache motorcycle on Wednesday. The impact left the teacher critically injured. According to reports, Jay Narayan Gupta was standing on the roadside when the high-speed Apache motorcycle rammed into him with tremendous force.

Following the accident, the motorcycle rider fled the spot, leaving the bike behind. The motorcycle involved in the incident has been identified by its registration number UP 72 BY 7150.

Upon receiving information about the accident, 112 emergency police arrived at the scene and rushed the injured teacher to CHC Kunda for medical treatment. Other teachers from the school also reached the location after learning about the incident.

Jay Narayan Gupta travels from Meera Bhavan, Pratapgarh to Composite School Tikaria Bujurg for his teaching duties. Police have seized the motorcycle recovered from the scene and initiated an investigation into the case. A search operation is currently underway to locate and apprehend the absconding motorcycle rider.
