About 280 global top bankers, including 120 group chairmen and CEOs, will gather in Hong Kong next week for the fifth Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit.
Hong Kong Monetary Authority chief executive Eddie Yue Wai-man said the participants would attend to learn how the city has been “rethinking the playbook” to go forward in coming years.
Senior banking figures to attend
The summit will include Morgan Stanley chairman Ted Pick, Goldman Sachs chairman David Solomon, and Blackstone president and COO John Gray.
The event will run from November 2 to 4, according to Yue.
Its attendance will bring together senior figures from global banking and investment firms, with 120 of the participants identified as group chairmen and CEOs.
Summit follows Hong Kong’s technology plan
The fifth edition of the summit is titled “Rethinking the Playbook”.
It will take place shortly after Hong Kong announced its first five-year plan to develop itself as a technology hub and a leading financial centre in September.
