Amethi Labourer Allegedly Attacked By Miscreants, Referred In Serious Condition
A labourer returning home after work was allegedly attacked in Amethi by unidentified miscreants in what is being described as a murderous assault.
According to the information available, the incident took place near Jafarganj bridge in the Kamrauli police station area. Around half a dozen people were reportedly lying in wait there and suddenly attacked the bike-borne labourer.
The injured labourer and his companion managed to run from the spot and save their lives. After hearing the noise and commotion, passersby rushed to the area and sent the injured youth to the Trauma Center in Jagdishpur for treatment.
At the trauma center, his condition was found to be serious, after which he was referred for further treatment.
After receiving information, Kamrauli police and Jagdishpur Kotwali police reached the spot and have started investigating the matter.
