20 Tamil Nadu Police Officers Receive President’s Medals for Service

In a significant recognition of their service, 20 police personnel from Tamil Nadu have been awarded the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service and the Medal for Meritorious Service. The announcement was made by the Government of India on Independence Day, underscoring the dedication and contributions of these officers to law enforcement and public safety.

Three Officers Receive Top Honour for Distinguished Service

The President’s Medal for Distinguished Service was conferred upon three senior officers: K. Ramachandran, Additional Superintendent of Police, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Virudhunagar; J. Vijay Anand, Additional SP, ‘Q’ Branch CID, Chennai; and S. Kumar, Assistant Commandant, Tamil Nadu Special Police IXth Battalion, Manimuthar. Their exemplary service and leadership have earned them this high honour, reflecting their commitment to maintaining integrity and efficiency in their respective roles.
