Yogi Adityanath Honors Farmers for Contributions to Natural Farming
CM Yogi Adityanath recognizes farmers for their efforts in natural farming and distributes benefits under government schemes.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday honored farmers for their significant contributions to natural farming during a program in Kanpur. Recognizing their efforts, the CM distributed cheques and mini-kits to beneficiaries of various government schemes aimed at supporting agricultural development.
Among the farmers celebrated for excellence in natural farming were Chhotelal from Paigupur, Rajesh Kumar Tripathi from Shivrajpur, Ashish Kumar from Kalyanpur, Sunil Singh Katiyar from Bilhaur, and Phool Singh Yadav from Jhinjhak. Their innovative and sustainable farming practices were highlighted as examples for others in the state to follow.
In addition to recognizing these farmers, the Chief Minister handed out financial assistance and resources under key government initiatives. Dinesh Kumar and Uma Singh each received cheques worth ₹5 lakh under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana, a scheme designed to provide financial aid to farmers and their families in case of accidents. Meanwhile, Vipin Shukla and Ashish Kumar were given Shree Anna mini-kits to promote the cultivation of millets and other nutritious grains.
The event underscores the Uttar Pradesh government’s focus on promoting natural farming and supporting the agricultural community. By encouraging sustainable practices and providing direct financial and material assistance, the state aims to boost farmers' incomes and improve agricultural productivity.
This initiative is part of a broader push by the Yogi Adityanath-led government to make farming more profitable and eco-friendly. With such programs, the state hopes to inspire more farmers to adopt natural farming techniques and benefit from government support.
