West Bengal Launches Annapurna Yojana for Women Empowerment

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has launched the Annapurna Yojana, a new welfare scheme aimed at empowering women in the state. Under this initiative, 28,25,769 verified beneficiaries have been registered through a dedicated online portal to ensure transparency and smooth implementation. In the first phase, each beneficiary will receive ₹3,000 as monthly financial assistance.
