Uttarakhand's 21-year-old film producer breaks box office record, wins world title

A 21-year-old film producer from Uttarakhand has been recognised with an international world record title following the remarkable commercial success of her debut feature film.

Anupriha Nagar has been awarded the title of India's Youngest Film Producer by the London Book of World Records after her film Hanuman Ansh crossed the ₹200 crore mark at the box office. The certificate was presented to her by Kartik Paliwal, International President of the London Book of World Records, at a special ceremony held near the sacred Kainchi Dham in Bhavali, Uttarakhand.

The recognition comes in the wake of the blockbuster performance of Hanuman Ansh, which made a spectacular entry into the ₹200 crore club at the box office. The film's unprecedented success has established Nagar as a significant new voice in Indian cinema despite her young age.

The award ceremony took place at a special event organised close to Kainchi Dham, the holy site associated with Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj. Kartik Paliwal personally handed over the official world record certificate to Anupriha Nagar during the function.

While presenting the world record, International President Kartik Paliwal praised Nagar's courage, vision and capability to successfully produce a film of such large scale at such a young age. He stated that Anupriha Nagar's achievement is a major source of inspiration not only for her but for all young filmmakers across the country and Uttarakhand. He added that she has proven that if the intent and subject matter are strong, stories rooted in Indian culture can set new benchmarks on a global level.

Following the international recognition, Anupriha Nagar visited Kainchi Dham to seek the blessings of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj. Expressing her gratitude to International President Kartik Paliwal, she also announced the sequel Hanuman Ansh Part-2. The shooting for the sequel will be conducted at sacred locations including Kainchi Dham, Bhoomiadhaar, Hanumangadhi and Kakrighat.

The recognition marks a moment of pride for Indian cinema and Uttarakhand, celebrating both the young producer's accomplishment and the cultural significance of her film's subject matter.
