Ghaziabad honors singer Sunil Lodhi for Hanuman Ansh contribution

Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has honored renowned singer Sunil Lodhi, who lent his voice to the popular film Hanuman Ansh, in a special ceremony held at the civic body's premises. The corporation invited Lodhi to felicitate him for his musical contribution, and the singer in turn appealed to the residents of Ghaziabad to keep the city clean, supporting the municipal corporation's cleanliness drive.

The event was attended by Ghaziabad Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik and singer Sunil Lodhi. During the ceremony, News Darpan held an exclusive conversation with Lodhi, tracing the milestones of his musical journey and learning about his path to success.

Speaking about his career, Sunil Lodhi shared that he had been singing Bundelkhandi songs from the very beginning of his journey. However, his life changed dramatically when he sang a song for the Hanuman Ansh movie and released it on social media. That moment transformed his career entirely, and today the world wants to listen to his voice in the form of devotional hymns and bhajans. Lodhi said he will continue to sing Sanskrit songs and bhajans in the same manner in the times ahead.

Ghaziabad Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik also spoke on the occasion, stating that the corporation makes every effort to clean the city. He explained that they invited Sunil Lodhi to honor him in Ghaziabad and requested him to deliver a message to the people of Ghaziabad about cleanliness and sanitation. Lodhi fulfilled this responsibility beautifully, Malik added.

With this initiative, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has become the first such civic body to invite and honor Sunil Lodhi, the singer of the Hanuman Ansh movie, at the municipal corporation office.
