Film Producer Amit Jani Offers Clothes and Prasad at Vaishno Devi Shrine

Film producer Amit Jani visited the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Darbar in Katra, J&K, on the seventh day of Sharadiya Navratri, observed on the occasion of Maa Kalratri. During the visit, clothes, prasad and other puja materials sent from Shri Kalki Dham in Sambhal were offered at the shrine.

The offerings were sent to Maa Vaishno Devi after Pujya Gurudev Shri Kalki Peethadheeshwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam Ji Maharaj performed a formal puja at Shri Kalki Dham. The clothes and other materials were prepared and sent with the intention of dedicating them to Maa Vaishno Devi.

On 17 October 2026, film producer Amit Jani and Ganesh Gupta, president of the Krishnam Committee, offered the clothes and prasad at the shrine. The visit was part of the religious programme linked to Shri Kalki Dham in Sambhal.

During the occasion, Ganesh Gupta said that when Lord Shri Kalki incarnates, Maa Vaishno Devi will appear in the form of a pindi and welcome the Lord. His statement referred to the religious belief associated with Lord Shri Kalki and Maa Vaishno Devi.

Ganesh Gupta also said that film producer Amit Jani, associated with Jani Firefox Films, mainly makes films based on real events and socio-political subjects. Jani’s upcoming film is ‘Kalki Sambhal’, which is based on events that took place in Sambhal.

The film will feature veteran Bollywood actors Mahesh Manjrekar and Vijay Raaz in the lead roles. Shooting for the film has already started in the Sambhal-Chandausi region of Uttar Pradesh.

After having darshan, Amit Jani said, “I have come to have darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi with devotion. I bowed my head at the feet of the Mata and prayed for everyone’s happiness and prosperity. I worshipped the Mata for about 5 minutes.”

After completing the darshan and prayers, Jani left for Bhairav Ghati. He further said, “May Mata Vaishno Devi bless everyone. I have come to the Mata’s darbar to seek blessings for the film ‘Kalki Sambhal’ and my other films. May Mata’s blessings remain upon me and the entire world.”
