UP Women's Commission Vice-Chairperson inspects Bahraich hospital, directs better care

Charu Chaudhary, Vice-Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission, visited the Maharshi Balark District Women's Hospital affiliated with the Medical College in Bahraich on Tuesday. During her visit, she issued instructions to doctors on duty to provide better treatment to women patients visiting the hospital.

The Vice-Chairperson specifically directed Dr. Shivani and Dr. Megha, who were present on duty at the time, to ensure improved medical care for female patients. The visit appeared to be part of routine monitoring to assess the quality of healthcare services being provided to women at the district-level facility.

The Maharshi Balark District Women's Hospital, which is affiliated with the Medical College, serves as an important healthcare institution for women in the Bahraich region. Such visits by state commission officials are typically conducted to oversee the functioning of hospitals and ensure that adequate medical facilities and treatment protocols are being followed.

Several senior medical officials were present during the Vice-Chairperson's visit. Principal Dr. Sanjay Khatri and CMS Dr. SK Verma were among the officials who accompanied Charu Chaudhary during the inspection. The presence of these administrative and medical heads suggests the visit was conducted as part of an official review of the hospital's operations and patient care standards.
