UP minister Pratibha Shukla celebrates Raksha Bandhan with over thousand women workers

Uttar Pradesh minister Pratibha Shukla and her husband, former MP Anil Shukla Varsi, celebrated Raksha Bandhan in a grand manner at Eco Park in Maati, Kanpur Dehat district. Over a thousand women workers from their Akbarpur-Rania assembly constituency tied rakhis on the wrists of the minister and former parliamentarian in a special event organized by their family organization.

The celebration was organized by the 'Anil Shukla Varsi and Pratibha Shukla Kutumb Parivar' organization at the Eco Park in Maati. More than a thousand women office bearers and workers from all sectors and booths of the Akbarpur-Rania assembly constituency participated in the event. The women first tied rakhi to former MP Anil Shukla Varsi and then tied the sacred thread on the wrist of state minister Pratibha Shukla, seeking their blessings. The minister couple distributed gifts to all the sisters present on this emotional occasion.

Speaking to the media, state minister Pratibha Shukla said these women workers are not just colleagues in the organization but an integral part of their family. She emphasized that these women have always stood by them in happiness and sorrow and will continue to do so in the future. Former MP Anil Shukla Varsi said that like every year, they celebrated Raksha Bandhan with their sisters this time as well. He added that this entire family has always stood firmly with them and their blessings are their greatest strength.

The event was attended by district panchayat member Krishna Gautam, Santoshi Dwivedi, Uma Dwivedi, Ramji Mishra, Baua Pandey, Bablu Bharti, Ram Singh Yadav, Sarman Tiwari, and several other dignitaries. The unique celebration highlighted the close bond between the political leaders and their grassroots women workers in the constituency.
