"Tiranga Mahotsav in Shravasti Promotes National Unity and Patriotism"

A one-day "Tiranga Mahotsav" and musical concert was successfully organized at the Collectorate in Shravasti as part of the nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. The event, jointly hosted by the district administration and the cultural department, aimed to deepen citizens' sense of patriotism, national unity, and respect for the Indian flag. The program commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony and the collective singing of "Vande Mataram," led by MLA Ram Feran Pandey, BJP District President Prof. Mishrilal Verma, District Magistrate Annapurna Garg, and other dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Ram Feran Pandey emphasized the significance of the tricolor, calling it a living symbol of India's unity, integrity, and pride. He urged citizens to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes and contribute to nation-building. Pandey highlighted that the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign was envisioned to transform the connection with the national flag from a formal and institutional symbol to a deeply personal one.

District Magistrate Annapurna Garg noted that the tricolor represents India's strength, diversity, and unity. She stated that the campaign builds on the success of previous years, infusing new energy and creativity while encouraging citizens to connect with the flag on both personal and community levels. Garg stressed that the initiative ensures widespread participation across the country, fostering a shared celebration of India's independence.

BJP District President Mishrilal Verma described the tricolor as the heartbeat of every Indian and praised the campaign as a historic movement under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He called on citizens to proudly hoist the flag at their homes and actively contribute to the nation's progress.

The event also featured cultural performances by students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and Ashram Paddhati Vidyalaya, Bhayapurva. Outstanding performers were awarded certificates of appreciation. Several officials, including District Social Welfare Officer Amarnath Yati and District Panchayati Raj Officer Nilesh Pratap Singh, were present alongside students and community members.
