Thakur Dwara Temple's beautification project launched in Unnao

The beautification and tourism development project for the historic Thakur Dwara Temple in Bandakheda village, Unnao, was inaugurated amidst a vibrant atmosphere of religious devotion and enthusiasm. The event, held under the Sarosi development block, saw the participation of local MLA Pankaj Gupta as the chief guest. He was warmly welcomed by residents, workers, and members of the temple committee with garlands and flowers upon his arrival.

The ceremony began with traditional Vedic chants and rituals. MLA Pankaj Gupta, accompanied by Mahant Shri Ram Mohan Das Ji, performed the ceremonial land worship to mark the commencement of the temple's development work. Following this, prayers were conducted at the temple premises, seeking blessings for the prosperity and welfare of the region. The official inauguration of the temple's beautification and tourism development project was also carried out during the event.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Pankaj Gupta emphasized the importance of preserving religious and historical heritage, calling them invaluable symbols of India's culture, faith, and traditions. He noted that the development of such sites goes beyond mere construction, serving as a vital link to connect future generations with their roots. Gupta highlighted that the beautification of Thakur Dwara Temple would enhance facilities for devotees, promote tourism, and create new opportunities for local employment and economic growth.

He further praised the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating that the administration is actively working to preserve and develop religious sites across the state. Gupta mentioned that initiatives like those in Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura are being replicated at the local level to give religious tourism a boost and strengthen the regional economy.

The event witnessed significant participation from religious leaders, BJP office-bearers, local representatives, and villagers, creating an atmosphere of collective enthusiasm and devotion.
