Sadar MLA inaugurates coolers at Vishwakarma temple in Unnao on Jayanti celebration

A special programme marking Vishwakarma Jayanti was organised at the Vishwakarma temple in Kabba Kheda, Unnao, under the aegis of the Vishwakarma Kalyan Samiti. Sadar legislator Pankaj Gupta attended the event and performed the ritual worship of Lord Vishwakarma according to prescribed rites, praying for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the area's residents.

Samiti president Devsharana Vishwakarma welcomed and honoured the Sadar MLA by garlanding him at the programme. He was also presented with a symbolic memento and an angavastra as marks of respect. Keeping in mind the convenience of devotees, legislator Pankaj Gupta inaugurated four large coolers installed in the temple premises by cutting the ribbon. The coolers have been set up using the MLA's local area development fund. It is hoped that the installation of these coolers will provide relief to devotees visiting the temple, especially during the summer season.

The Vishwakarma Kalyan Samiti also released a publication titled 'Arunoday' on this occasion. Addressing the gathering, Sadar legislator Pankaj Gupta threw light on the ideals of Lord Vishwakarma and the inspiration drawn from his life. He said that the teachings of Lord Vishwakarma inspire society to move forward on the path of hard work, creation and service.

The MLA also shared his thoughts on the need for social unity, mutual cooperation and social upliftment. He said that positive change can be brought about in society through the active participation of social organisations.

Present at the programme were samiti president Devsharana Vishwakarma, general secretary Vivek Verma, patron Surendra Datt Vishwakarma, Deepak Kumar Vishwakarma, Sheel Kumar Vishwakarma, Anu Sharma, vice-president Savitri Devi Vishwakarma, Shiv Vilas Vishwakarma, Anurag Vishwakarma, Harishankar Vishwakarma, Vipin Vishwakarma, along with other office-bearers and members of the samiti, and a large number of devotees.

The event was held on the sacred occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti at the Vishwakarma temple located in Kabba Kheda, Unnao district.
