Sri Gupt Kashi temple concludes Shravan month with grand Purnahuti Havan ceremony

Religious ceremonies were conducted with great devotion at the Sri Gupt Kashi Baba Vibhutinath Mahadev Temple to mark the culmination of the holy month of Shravan. Under the guidance of temple head Mahant Shri Shivnath Giri Ji Maharaj, the Purnahuti Havan and worship rituals were performed following all traditional customs and protocols.

During the Purnahuti Havan ceremony, devotees offered sacred oblations into the holy fire while Vedic mantras were chanted. Prayers were offered to Lord Shiva for peace, prosperity and welfare of the region and society. The temple premises resonated with devotional fervor as devotees immersed themselves in worship of Lord Bholenath. Throughout the ceremony, chants of "Har Har Mahadev" and "Bam Bam Bhole" filled the atmosphere.

The month of Shravan holds special significance for Lord Shiva's worship. Throughout the month, devotees had performed daily prayers, Jalabhishek and other religious rituals at Baba Vibhutinath Mahadev Temple. The special Purnahuti Havan marked the conclusion of these continuous month-long observances.

Mahant Shri Shivnath Giri Ji Maharaj addressed the devotees about the importance of Shravan month and Lord Shiva worship, blessing everyone with prayers for an auspicious life. He emphasized that religious ceremonies aim not only to achieve spiritual peace but also to strengthen values of service, harmony and selflessness in society.

Following the havan ceremony, a Kanya Bhoj was organized in the temple premises where young girls were served meals with reverence and honored with prasad distribution. Devotees participated enthusiastically in this traditional ritual. Devotees took darshan of Baba Vibhutinath Mahadev, performed worship and received blessings. Prasad was distributed to all attendees after the ceremonies concluded.

At the program's conclusion, Mahant Shri Shivnath Giri Ji Maharaj expressed gratitude to all devotees and organizers, praying to Baba Vibhutinath Mahadev for everyone's happiness, peace, prosperity and welfare.
