SP Leaders Pay Tribute to Kanshi Ram on Death Anniversary in Pratapgarh

Samajwadi Party leaders and workers observed the death anniversary of Manyawar Kanshi Ram at the party office in Mirabhawan, Pratapgarh, and remembered his struggle for social justice and political empowerment of deprived communities.

The programme was held on Friday at the Samajwadi Party office in Mirabhawan. Manyawar Kanshi Ram, described as a great leader of the Bahujan Samaj and a pioneer of social change, was remembered on the occasion. Party leaders and workers paid tribute by garlanding his portrait and offering flowers.

Addressing the programme, the speakers said that Manyawar Kanshi Ram had dedicated his entire life to social justice, equality, dignity and the political empowerment of deprived society. They said his contribution to the political empowerment of the deprived, exploited and Dalit communities was unforgettable.

The speakers said Kanshi Ram worked to make oppressed, backward, Dalit and deprived sections of society aware of their rights. He also gave them the message to come together and fight for their rights.

They said Kanshi Ram’s struggle, his ideology and his resolve for social change continue to inspire crores of people even today. According to the speakers, ending social inequality and establishing an equal society would be the true tribute to him.
