Samajwadi Party Observes Kanshi Ram’s Parinirvana Day in Shravasti

The Samajwadi Party observed the Parinirvana Day of Bahujan leader Manyawar Sahib Kanshi Ram at the party office in Bhinga, Shravasti, on Friday. Party office-bearers and workers paid floral tributes at his portrait and remembered his ideas, struggle and contribution to the uplift of Bahujan society.

The programme was organised according to the directions of Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and state president Shyam Lal Pal.

Addressing the gathering, district president Sarvjeet Singh Yadav said Manyawar Kanshi Ram had dedicated his entire life to the struggle for social justice, equality and the rights of the deprived, exploited and backward sections.

He said Kanshi Ram’s struggle and his contribution to the uplift of Bahujan society would continue to inspire society. According to him, adopting Kanshi Ram’s ideas and strengthening the struggle for social justice, equality and the rights of PDA, पिछड़ा, दलित, अल्पसंख्यक, would be the true tribute to him.

The event was attended by former MLA Aslam Raini, Assembly president Ramraj Bauddh, Minority Sabha district president Fiddan Miyan, Mazdoor Sabha district president Mulayam, Assembly chief general secretary Suresh Paswan, Dr Jagdish Prasad and district panchayat member Bharat Lal Yadav.

Vinay Kumar Maurya, Banshilal Yadav, Radheshyam Maurya, Praveen Kumar, Raju and Atif Raini were also present. Several other Samajwadi Party office-bearers, leaders and workers took part in the programme.

At the end of the event, the leaders and workers present took a pledge to follow the ideals of Manyawar Kanshi Ram and carry forward the struggle for social justice and equality.

The gathering concluded with tributes to Kanshi Ram amid slogans of ‘मान्यवर कांशीराम जी अमर रहें’, ‘जय भीम’ and ‘जय समाजवाद’.
