Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University hosts cycle rally for drug awareness

Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University in Aligarh organized a cycle rally under the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. The event was flagged off by Registrar Shri Prabuddh Singh and Deputy Registrar Shri Pawan Kumar, marking the university's commitment to a drug-free society.

The rally aimed to educate young people about the dangers of addiction and promote the vision of a healthy and clean India. Over 150 students from various departments enthusiastically participated in the event, using slogans, impactful performances, and strong messages to highlight the consequences of drug abuse and advocate for a drug-free community.

Coordinators Dr. Hargyan Singh and Dr. Awadhesh Kumar ensured the smooth and effective execution of the program. Faculty members, including Dr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Surbhi Gupta, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Sachin Kumar Verma, Dr. Pooja Choudhary, and Dr. Ayush Gaur, were present to encourage the participants. They emphasized the critical role of youth in building a drug-free society.

At the conclusion of the rally, all participants pledged to contribute actively to the creation of a substance-free community. The event was seen as a significant step in fostering social awareness and instilling a sense of responsibility among young people.
