Sitapur celebrates newborn daughters under Mission Shakti campaign in Uttar Pradesh

A girl child birth celebration was organized at Kamliapur Primary Health Center in Sitapur district on Monday under the Mission Shakti campaign. The event, arranged by One Stop Center Unit-2 Kamliapur, aimed to celebrate the birth of newborn daughters, honor their families, and raise awareness about the importance of the girl child in society.

The program was attended by Chief Development Officer Dr. Diksha Joshi as the chief guest, along with District Probation Officer Rajkumar Yadav, Medical Superintendent of Community Health Center Kamliapur Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, and One Stop Center Manager Smita Vaishya. Staff members from both the hospital and the One Stop Center were also present at the celebration.

During the event, a cake was cut and sweets were distributed to mark the joyous occasion of the newborn girls' births. Himalaya baby kits were presented to the families of the newborn daughters as gifts. The families received congratulations and were wished well for the proper upbringing and bright future of their daughters. The celebration created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy among the newborn girls and their relatives.

Officials and staff present at the program used the platform to spread the message of the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. They emphasized the need for awareness regarding the education, safety, and empowerment of girls. Speaking at the event, officials stated that daughters are a precious heritage of society and family, and can only be made self-reliant and empowered by providing them with equal opportunities.
