Kishan Rajpal, spokesperson for the Sindhi community, shared that the program commenced with the lighting of lamps before Lord Jhulelal by community heads Jayramdas Ladhwani and Rajkumar Thakkur. Following the inaugural ceremony, the Star Group from Kanpur presented a series of devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Jhulelal, which left the devotees deeply moved and spiritually engaged. The atmosphere became even more festive as devotees enthusiastically participated in dancing. Mumbai-based performer Devansh added to the evening's entertainment, captivating the audience with his talent.
Speaking at the occasion, Jagdish Raytani and Dinesh Thakkur of the Sindhi community jointly emphasized the community's longstanding commitment to social service. They highlighted the Sindhi community's leadership role in various humanitarian efforts, including flood relief operations, assistance during the Corona crisis, contributions to city development through construction of intersections, religious activities, and blood donation drives. They reiterated the community's dedication to continuing such social service initiatives in the future.
The event also recognized contributions from other community leaders. Honours were bestowed upon Harjit Singh Chabra, president of the Sikh community, vice president Rajendra Khurana, Bhupendra Arya, district president of the All India Industry and Trade Forum, district general secretary Shivkumar Soni, and city president Rajendra Singh. Among other prominent attendees were Mathuradas Ladhani, Anil Kalani, president of the Shri Jhulelal Dharmarth Seva Samiti, BJP leader Rajesh Raychandani, and numerous other community members who actively participated in making the cultural program a memorable success.
