Sindhi community concludes 10-day Jhulelal Mahotsav with grand Maha Aarti ceremony

The 10-day Jhulelal Mahotsav concluded in the city with a grand Maha Aarti ceremony, marking the culmination of the sacred celebrations held by the Sindhi community. Kishan Rajpal, spokesperson for the Sindhi community, confirmed that the final day of the Aarti Puja witnessed an elaborate ritual ceremony late in the evening.

The grand ceremony began with the traditional Aarti of Lord Jhulelal, followed by the singing of Lal Sai's Panjara Gaan in praise of the deity. Devotees then commenced singing bhajans dedicated to Lord Jhulelal, which transformed the entire atmosphere into one of deep devotion and spiritual fervor. The congregation became so absorbed in the divine melodies that they began dancing spontaneously, chanting slogans of "Aao Lal Jhule Lal" between their rhythmic movements.

The ceremony concluded with devotees offering Pallav Pakar, a traditional prayer ritual where they placed their wishes and grievances before Lord Jhulelal. Following the spiritual proceedings, all participants gathered together to partake in Langar prasad, the community meal that symbolizes equality and unity.

The event saw prominent attendance from Sindhi community leaders including community head Jayramdas Ladhwani, Rajkumar Thakkur, Shri Jhulelal Dharmarth Samiti president Anil Kalani, and several other distinguished members. The list included Mathura Das Ladhani, Jagdish Raitani, Dinesh Kumar Thakkur, Kailash Raitani, BJP leader Rajesh Raichandani, Kailash Ladhwani, Prem Mandhyan, Mukesh Dhankani, Omi Thakkur, Umesh Chunglani, Vijay Wadhwani, Mohan Kriplani, and numerous other community members.

The successful conclusion of the Jhulelal Mahotsav reflects the strong cultural and religious bonds within the Sindhi community, with the celebrations bringing together devotees in a display of collective faith and communal harmony.
