Saraswati Shishu Mandir celebrates Krishna Janmashtami with children's tableaux and bhajans

Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Lalgang, Raebareli, celebrated the festival of Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion. Children dressed as Radha and Krishna presented captivating tableaux that mesmerised everyone present.

The programme began with a garland offering and lamp lighting ceremony before a picture of Lord Krishna. Young children performed enchanting dances to Krishna bhajans. The tableaux featuring children dressed as Radha and Krishna proved to be the special centre of attraction.

Speaking on the occasion, school manager Kailash Vajpayee said, "Krishna Janmashtami is a traditional and sacred festival of Hindus. The Hindu community celebrates the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna with great pomp. This festival inspires us to walk on the path of truth, love and righteousness. From the life of Krishna we learn the lessons of dutifulness and selfless action."

Principal Suresh Pathak and treasurer Kaushilendra Kanchan motivated the children to adopt the ideals of Lord Krishna in their lives.

Prasad was distributed at the end of the programme. Those present on the occasion included Ramsharanji, Ramesh Bajpai, Diwakar Singh, Suresh Verma, Jagdev Singh, Arya Shrivastava, Shivankari, Lakshmi Vishwakarma, Aradhya, Shivani, Shalini Shukla, Shiv Sharma, Vijay Shankar Tiwari, Akanksha, Anupama, all the teachers of the school, and a large number of parents and brothers and sisters.
