Samajwadi Party meets to strengthen booth-level organization ahead of elections

A review meeting of the Backward Class Cell and Trade Council was held at the Socialist Party office in Pratapgarh, where workers discussed strengthening the organisation down to the booth level and deliberated on upcoming programmes.

Chief guest Awdhesh Kumar alias Panchu Yadav, state secretary of the Backward Class Cell, said that every worker of the Samajwadi Party is the backbone of the party. Workers play an important role in strengthening the organisation at the booth level. He said that the respect of all workers is paramount for the party. He called upon workers to organise PDA Panchayat programmes in every village on the instructions of national president Akhilesh Yadav and to take the alleged anti-people policies of the BJP government to the people.

He alleged that students, youth, farmers and women are troubled under the BJP government. He said inflation is at its peak and educated youth are not getting employment. Farmers are troubled over fertiliser and seeds. He also alleged that crimes against women are increasing and said that poor families are facing a crisis of arranging two square meals a day.

Praveen Kesarwani, state secretary of the Trade Council, said that the BJP government has troubled the trader community through GST. He said that prices of food items are continuously rising and the common public, including traders, are troubled by inflation. He termed the BJP government completely failed.

District vice-president Ashutosh Pandey presided over the meeting, while Backward Class district president Manish Pal conducted the proceedings. On the occasion, former MLA Rajkumar Pal, state executive member Hariom Sahu, district general secretary Abdul Qadir Jilani, Abhay Singh Yadav, Trade Council district president Suresh Jaiswal, Ashish Srivastava, Nisar Ahmad, Rajkumar Prajapati, MP media in-charge Waqar Ahmad, Rohit Vishwakarma, Uttam Singh, Sunil Mali, Dr Rambahadur Patel, Suresh Yadav, Rajeev Yadav Sokha, Vinod Yadav, Mahima Gupta, Shanti Singh, Ashwani Soni, Rajkumar Vishwakarma, Vikas Yadav, Javed Akhtar, Imran Sabasad, Vishal Maurya, Engineer Abhishek Yadav, Ritesh Jaiswal, Manoj Gupta, JP Patel, Ramkhelawan Yadav and other leaders were present.
