Rajesh Kumar Hingankar will continue as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Chief Minister’s Office, with the state government reappointing the Indian Police Service (IPS) officer on a contractual basis.

According to the order issued by the government, Hingankar’s appointment will take effect from 1 November 2026. The appointment has been made for a period of one year or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

With this reappointment, Rajesh Kumar Hingankar will continue to discharge his responsibilities as OSD in the Chief Minister’s Office. His role in the office, therefore, remains unchanged under the latest order.
