Pratapgarh Police transfers 95 sub-inspectors in major district reshuffle

Pratapgarh Police Superintendent Deepak Bhukar has transferred 95 sub-inspectors in a major reshuffle of the district's police force. The transfers were ordered to strengthen policing and law and order in the district.

The transfer list includes sub-inspectors posted at 25 police stations across Pratapgarh district. Following this reshuffle, responsibilities of police officers have changed in several police station areas.

Under the transfers, Aslam Khan has been made senior sub-inspector at Lilapur, transferred from Fatanpur. Similarly, sub-inspectors posted at different police station areas have been sent to other stations and police units. This will result in policing starting with new teams at several stations.

The list includes the names of several sub-inspectors such as Rakesh Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Singh, Roshan Singh, Virendra Singh and Ajit Kumar Singh. Officers have been instructed to reach their new posting locations and take charge.

This reshuffle in the police department is being seen as an effort to further strengthen law and order in the district. The change of officers at the police station level is expected to bring speed in crime control, investigation of pending cases and resolution of complaints from the public.

Police Superintendent Deepak Bhukar said that sub-inspectors have been given new responsibilities according to requirements to maintain better policing and law and order in the district. All officers have been instructed to work in their new areas with full responsibility, impartiality and speed.

Following the transfer of 95 sub-inspectors, the process of newly posted officers taking charge at the respective police stations will now begin. The impact of this change in the police department will also be visible in the coming days on the way work is done at the police station level.
