Police rescue two children from live electric wire in Banda

Two children in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, were saved from a life-threatening situation thanks to the quick thinking and bravery of local police officers. The incident occurred in Punaur village under the Bisanda police station area, where the children accidentally came into contact with a live electric wire and were stuck due to the current.

Constables Jitendra Kumar and Sunil Kumar acted swiftly to rescue the children. Using a wooden stick, they managed to safely separate the kids from the wire, preventing further harm. The officers then rushed the children to the Bisanda Primary Health Centre (PHC) for immediate medical attention. Thanks to timely intervention, both children are now safe and healthy.

The courageous act of the police officers has been widely praised by the local community. Residents have lauded their bravery and humanity, noting how the constables risked their own lives to save the children. "Their quick action saved my child’s life. We are forever grateful," said one of the children’s relatives.

Krishnakant Tripathi, Circle Officer of Baberu, commended the officers for their heroic efforts, emphasizing the importance of such dedication in serving the community.
