Traffic on the Peripheral Expressway near Chakrasenpur village came to a standstill early Thursday morning after an overloaded truck spilled stones onto the road. The incident, which occurred around 5 a.m., left a significant portion of the expressway covered in debris, causing long queues of vehicles and confusion among commuters.

Responding swiftly to the situation, the Dadri police arrived at the scene and took immediate action. Instead of waiting for assistance, the officers began clearing the road themselves. Armed with shovels, they worked tirelessly to remove the stones, with some officers even using their hands to clear the path for vehicles.

Their efforts continued for two hours, during which they first created a passage for stranded vehicles to move. Later, a JCB machine was brought in to fully clear the debris from the road. By 7 a.m., traffic flow had been restored to normal.

The police's proactive approach drew appreciation from onlookers, many of whom captured the scene on video. These clips quickly went viral on social media, with users praising the officers for going beyond their usual duties. Many highlighted how the police not only maintain law and order but also step up to resolve crises directly when needed.

Speaking about the incident, Neeraj Kumar Mishra, the in-charge of Dadri police station, confirmed that the team had acted promptly to ensure the road was cleared and traffic resumed as soon as possible.
