Pharmaceutical businessman's daughter-in-law arrested as mastermind in Kanpur murder case

A major breakthrough has emerged in the murder case of Vineet Minochha, a prominent pharmaceutical businessman from Kanpur. According to police, the daughter-in-law who was seen weeping over her father-in-law's death has allegedly turned out to be the mastermind behind the killing.

Police claim that Shalu had allegedly given a contract worth approximately 6 lakh rupees to have her father-in-law Vineet Minochha murdered. For this purpose, her former employee Vishal Gautam and his associate Rajkishor were allegedly roped in.

The incident took place on Saturday night at Ratan Orbit Apartment in Kalyanpur, Kanpur, when 63-year-old Vineet Minochha was alone at home. During this time, both accused entered the flat and stabbed him more than 26 times.

During police investigation, CCTV footage surfaced showing both suspects entering and exiting the flat. Following this, police arrested both men after an encounter. During interrogation, both allegedly named Shalu.

The investigation has also revealed that Shalu and Vishal were in constant contact before the murder. Police have scrutinized call detail records of the past 21 days and are now investigating the entire chain of this contact.

According to police, the motive for the murder may be linked to CCTV surveillance, money, and disputes ongoing within the family. However, investigation into Shalu's role in the case and the complete motive behind the murder is still underway.

Shalu has now been arrested and police are engaged in piecing together the links of the entire murder conspiracy.
