Man sentenced to life imprisonment for kidnapping and murder in Bulandshahr

A court in Bulandshahr has sentenced Daksh Chaudhary to life imprisonment in a kidnapping and murder case. Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ-02) Manoj Kumar Singh pronounced the sentence at 6 pm, also imposing a fine of 27,000 rupees on the convict.

The case dates back to 2023. Daksh Chaudhary, son of Amit Kumar and resident of Mohalla Sarai Ghasi in Kotwali Nagar area, was accused of kidnapping and murdering Keshav Goyal, the nephew of city resident Preeti Singh.

A case was registered at Kotwali Nagar police station on 12 July 2023. Police completed the investigation and filed a chargesheet in court on 31 July 2023.

The case was identified under 'Operation Conviction', which is being run on the directions of the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh. The monitoring cell continuously supervised the case and ensured effective advocacy in court.

According to police, government prosecutors Surendrapal Singh and Vijay Kumar Sharma, monitoring cell in-charge Inspector Pankaj Rai, advocate constable Omkar, and court moharrir woman head constable Sunita Singh worked together to present a strong prosecution case before the court. Following their efforts, the court found Daksh Chaudhary guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment along with a fine of 27,000 rupees.

The conviction was achieved through rigorous advocacy by the police under Operation Conviction, demonstrating the effectiveness of systematic monitoring and coordinated prosecution efforts in serious criminal cases.
