Man killed by train while crossing tracks in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district

A 65-year-old man was killed after being struck by a train while crossing railway tracks to reach a field in Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh. The victim has been identified as Ramdev Verma, a resident of Dedh Pasar village in the Amethi police station area.

According to local reports, Verma was crossing the railway line to go to a nearby field to relieve himself when the tragic accident occurred.
