Karni Sena vice president killed in brutal attack at Ujjain dhaba

Two prominent members of the Karni Sena were killed in a brutal attack in Ujjain's Chimanganj police station area late last night. Rahul Darbar, the state vice president of Karni Sena, and his associate Jeetu Thakur lost their lives after a gathering meant to resolve an old dispute turned violent at a roadside eatery.

According to sources, Rahul Darbar and Jeetu Thakur, both residents of the Pawasa area, had organized a dinner party at a dhaba with the intention of settling a longstanding feud. However, the meeting took a deadly turn when an argument broke out during the event. A group of 12 to 15 people allegedly launched a coordinated attack on the two men, using sharp-edged weapons. The assault resulted in the deaths of both Darbar and Thakur, while Sarwan and another individual sustained injuries in the melee.

Police officials from Chimanganj police station, accompanied by senior officers and additional forces, rushed to the scene as soon as they received information about the incident. The bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem examination, and forensic teams gathered evidence from the site. The violent episode has sent shockwaves through the region, with residents expressing concern over the escalating gang-related violence.

Bhuru Thakur, brother of one of the deceased, has named several individuals in his complaint to the police, including Sonu Banjara, Shakti Singh Atal, Arpit Atal, Anil Banjara, Golu Sikarwar, and Rakesh Bamaniya. However, police have stated that the exact role and involvement of these accused persons can only be confirmed after a thorough investigation. Authorities are now conducting raids to apprehend the suspects, and further details are expected to emerge as the probe continues.
